1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup molasses
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 heaping tsp baking soda
2 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, ginger, cloves and cinnamon and set aside.

Cream sugar and margarine. Add molasses. Mix.

Put 1 heaping tsp baking soda in 1 cup boiling water and add to mixture.

Slowly add flour mixture.

Add 2 well beaten eggs just before baking.
