One cup butter/margarine (Granny only used margarine)
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cups celery, chopped
2 packages bread crumbs ( I use an 8 ounce package of herb mixture and an 8 ounce package of cornbread mixture)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. poultry seasoning
3/4 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 to 3 cans chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in microwave. Saute' chopped onion & celery in butter until onion is transparent but not brown. Combine bread crumbs, salt, pepper, other spices and beaten eggs; stir in onion/celery mixture. Stir in chicken broth. Put into greased baking dish & bake at 350º for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

This is not exactly what Granny made but it is the best that I could remember when I started making it. She always cooked the turkey giblets and then cut them up and added them to the mixture. I personally don't care for the giblets so I leave them out.
