One can strained tomatoes
1/4 package of gelatine
1/2 cup cold water
Juice of one lemon
Salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients and place in mold and chill.

"I like vinegar in place of Lemon juice or some of each. I also add sugar to suit taste. (I don't think it good with out sugar).
Some chopped celery or nuts or any vegetable one desires can be added."

Mother used to make this when we were kids.
