⅓ cup butter
⅓ cup brown sugar
½ cup pecans, chopped
1 pkg. vanilla pie filling (5 oz.)
3 cups milk
1 envelope Dream Whip
Crust for 1 pie

Directions:
Directions:
Heat sugar and butter with nuts until melted. Spread in pie shell. Bake at 450º for 5 minutes. Cool. Prepare pie filling as directed. Cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Measure 1 cup, cover with waxed paper and chill thoroughly. Pour remaining into pie shell and chill. Prepare topping as directed. Fold 1⅓ cup into the 1 cup reserved pie filling. Spread over filling in pie shell. Chill. Garnish with remaining Dream Whip and pecans.
