3-4 chicken breasts or 6-8 thighs
1 16 oz jar of your favourite salsa
2-4 cloves of garlic
1 15 oz can of black beans, drained
2 cups of frozen corn
1 Tbsp chili powder (or to taste)
1/2 Tbsp cumin
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or if you like a kick, to taste)
black pepper, to taste
6 cups cooked rice

Toppings:
fresh lime juice
cheddar cheese, grated
green onions sliced
fresh cilantro
sour cream
corn tortilla chips

Directions:
Directions:
Put chicken, beans, salsa and corn in slow cooker. Add 1/4 c of water, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, cayenne and pepper. Mix well. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4. Shred chicken. To build bowls, place rice in the bottom of the bowl, and add chicken mixture on top. Top with preferred toppings.
