Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 pound bacon, about 8 slices
1/2 pound spaghetti
Salt to taste
1-2 cloves garlic (I like more)
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cups frozen chopped broccoli, thawed (or fresh, chopped into bite-sized pieces)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon until crisp and remove from pa. Drain on paper towels. Save 3 tablespoons of the bacon fat and pour off the rest. Return the measured fat to the pan. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in large part of boiling, salted water, until done (best if slightly al dente)

Chop garlic.

Add oil and garlic to the bacon fat and cook, stirring one minute. Add broccoli and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain Pasta and return to hot pot. Stir in broccoli mixture and cheese and bacon. Toss everything together until well mixed.

Serve with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
