1 cup rice
1 cup cold water
3 to 4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Slowly heat rice and water mixture until water is hot. Add sugar, salt, milk and simmer for one hour, stirring frequently with fork. Keep covered. Soak raisins in warm water for a few minutes. Combine egg, vanilla, lemon juice, raisins. Fold rice mixture into egg mixture. Put back on stove for five minutes.
