2 peeled and cubed potatoes*
1 small onion, diced
1 large carrot, diced
8 oz ground sirloin
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

*optional- replace one potato with a rutabaga

Directions:

Prepare ingredients and mix together

Using your favorite pie crust dough, form 2 circles.

Place half of the meat mix in center and one side of the dough.

Fold the other half over the mix, pinch or roll the edges to seal the pasty.

Bake for one hour at 350º.

Obviously, this is a small recipe and I suggest at least doubling it.
