1/4 Cups butter 1/4 Cups flour 1/4 Cups cornstarch 2 Cups scalded milk 2 Unbeaten egg yolks 3/4 Cups grated Cheddar cheese 1/4 teaspoons monosodium glutmate 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/2 Cups grated Cheddar cheese Paprika

Melt butter in a saucepan;blend in flour and cornstarch.Gradually add scalded milk and cook slowly,stirring constantly,until mixture boils and thickens.Continue cooking and stirring over low heat 2 to 3 minutes.Stir in egg yolks,one at a time.Add 3/4 cups cheese;stir until melted.Remove from heat.Season with monosodium glutmate and salt.Pour into greased shallow baking dish,10x8x2-inches.Cool,then chill several hours or overnight.Cut in 2-inch squares.Lift out squares and arranges,edges overlapping,in greased 9-inch pie plate.Sprinkle with cheese;dust with paprika.Bake at 400*F>about 20 minutes,or until delicately browned
