3 eggs
⅔ c. sugar
dash salt
1 cup Karo dark syrup
½ cup margarine or butter, melted
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 350º

Beat the 3 eggs with sugar
Add a dash of salt, the Karo syrup, margarine or butter
Add pecan halves to mixture
Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Bake 50 minutes

In the mobile home Jeff and I bought and lived in (Ramona, OK) while I was finishing college in Tulsa and Jeff was working in Bartlesville, we had 3 pecan trees that had a bumper crop the first year we lived there. We were giving a lot of pecans away - and Ruth sent a few recipes with pecans our way.
