Ingredients: Cookies- Cream together
3/4 c. Butter 3/4 c. Shortening 4 eggs 2 Cups Sugar 1 tsp. Pure vanilla 1 tsp. Pure Almond Extract (if you want the dough colored add food coloring to the wet before you add dry ingredients.
Sift Together and add into creamed mixture. 5 cups Flour 2 tsp. Salt 2 tsp. Baking Powder
Buttercream Frosting for Cookies
Cream together
1/2 c. softened Butter 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract 5 c. confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup milk dash of salt food coloring if desired

Directions:Preheat oven to 350º Chill a minimum of 1 hour, Best if chilled overnight. Take chilled dough and Roll to 1/4 in thick on a floured surface. Cut into desired shapes and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6 Minutes in pre-heated oven. When done remove and leave on cookie sheet to cool for five minutes.
When removed and cooled for an hour before frosting with buttercream frosting below.
