One and 3/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
8 cups cold water

Directions:
Directions:
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat to dissolve the sugar. Allow the sugar syrup to cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Remove the seeds from the lemon juice, but leave the pulp. In a pitcher, stir together the chilled sugar syrup, lemon juice, and the remaining 7 cups of cold water. Serve over ice and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
