"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 chocolate cake (9x13) either box or homemade
1 jar (approx. 12.25 oz.) caramel ice cream topping
1 c. finely chopped peanuts
1 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Fluff
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Mini or Fun Size Snickers, for garnish
Chocolate sauce for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Make your 9x13 chocolate cake according to instructions. While cake cools slightly, pour the caramel into a small bowl or measuring cup and heat for 30 seconds in microwave. Stir in peanuts.

Using the back of a wooden spoon, poke several holes in the cake, at least 20-30 holes, all over. Pour the caramel/nut mix evenly over the cake. Let the cake cool completely before continuing.

Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a large microwave safe bowl on high in 30 second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. The oil helps the chips to melt w/o seizing. You can also use shortening.

Once the chocolate is melted, stir in the Marshmallow Fluff. It's very stick and thick.

Add the Cool Whip to the chocolate mixture and stir w/ a wooden spoon until combined. It'll be hard to mix, but keep at it, it will come. It doesn't matter if it's a little lumpy. Spread the Cool Whip mix over the cooled cake. Chill for several hours.

Top with chopped Snickers and chocolate sauce for garnish. Store in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
