Pavlova Recipe

4 egg whites
pinch salt
1 c sugar, heaping
2 t. white vinegar
1 T cornstarch
1 c whipped cream or cool whip
1 pt. strawberries, fresh and/or blueberries and raspberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cover a cookie sheet with brown paper and dust it lightly with cornstarch. Draw a 7" circle in the cornstarch.
Beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks. Gradually add sugar, beating well with each addition. Fold in vinegar and cornstarch.
Pile into middle of drawn circle, keeping it 1 1/2" - 2" high. Bake on low at 275º (don't preheat) for 1 hr. 20 min.
Remove from oven and turn upside down on serving tray. Cool. Cover top with cool whip and berries just before serving.
