1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1½ t. vanilla
3 eggs, beaten
3½ c. flour
1 t. baking soda
2 t. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; beat thoroughly. Add flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, and bake @ 325º or until cookies JUSTa turn brown around the edges. This dough may also be rolled out and cut with various cookie cutters.
