2 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup orange juice
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 package (3 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup dried apricot
1/2 cup cashews

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg. Beat until light and fluffy. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and juice. Mix until a soft dough forms. Stir in apricots and cashews. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 9-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool completely
