2 1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. warm water
3/4 C. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
6 C. white flour
1 1/2 C. wheat flour
3 T. gluten (optional)
2 T. yeast
1 1/2 t. salt
3/4 C. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water & 1 T. sugar.

Scald milk, add sugar, shortening and salt. Cool. Beat eggs and add to milk. Mix yeast, milk and 3 C. flour. Let rest 10 minutes. Add remaining flour. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Make into rolls or bread. Let rise until doubled in size. Bake at 350º until brown.

Note. You can use all white flour and omit gluten for this recipe. This recipe is good for cinnamon rolls also.
