2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
3 healthy Tablespoons Cocoa
1 Cup Mayonnaise (I use Miracle Whip)
1 Cup Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions:

Combine all ingredients together with electric mixer; mixing for approximately 2 minutes. Bake in greased/floured pan for 30 minutes at 350º.

+ Frost with homemade frosting of 1 box (4 cups) Powdered Sugar
4 Tablespoons Shortening &
3 Tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3-4 Tablespoons Cocoa
Enough Milk to make creamy frosting.
Beat with electric mixer & frost cake.
Add pecans pieces on top if desired

This recipe was was given to me by Hollie Ramsey Nevil. The recipe for the Icing was given to me by Anita Shelton. The cake will be heavy & makes a great cake to use for making "cut-up cakes" such as a heart for Valentine's Day or many other designs (figures) you may like if you don't have a pan for such a figure you are wanting.
