Ingredients: 2 Cups Flour 1 Cup Sugar 2 teaspoons Baking Soda ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder 3 healthy Tablespoons Cocoa 1 Cup Mayonnaise (I use Miracle Whip) 1 Cup Water 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions: |
Directions:Combine all ingredients together with electric mixer; mixing for approximately 2 minutes. Bake in greased/floured pan for 30 minutes at 350º.
+ Frost with homemade frosting of 1 box (4 cups) Powdered Sugar 4 Tablespoons Shortening & 3 Tablespoons margarine 1 teaspoon Vanilla 3-4 Tablespoons Cocoa Enough Milk to make creamy frosting. Beat with electric mixer & frost cake. Add pecans pieces on top if desired |

Notes: This recipe was was given to me by Hollie Ramsey Nevil. The recipe for the Icing was given to me by Anita Shelton. The cake will be heavy & makes a great cake to use for making "cut-up cakes" such as a heart for Valentine's Day or many other designs (figures) you may like if you don't have a pan for such a figure you are wanting.
