2 Sticks Margarine
3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 Cup Corn Starch
1 3/4 Cup Flour

2 1/2 Tablespoon Soft Margarine
1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla
1 1/2 Cup Sifted Powdered Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Almond Extract
1 1/2 Tablespoon Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients for pastry. Roll out, cut into shapes, bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Decorate with icing.
You usually have to mix with your hands. They burn easily so watch carefully.

Icing:
Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients until smooth. Put in food coloring as needed.

Terry's family came from Canada and his mother orginaly from Scotland. This recipe is all the way from Scotland and treasured every holiday. When you mix the pastry take your rings off and get your hands in there to mix it all together.
