1/2 cup butter/shortening
1cups sugar
2 beaten eggs
3 bananas (very ripe)
1/4 cups nuts (optional)
2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:

cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, beat well. sift flour, baking powder and soda together, add to shortening mixture alternating with crushed banana and nut mixture.

350 degrees 45-60 minutes Makes 2 small loaves or 1 large and four cupcakes.
