2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 stick oleo
4 T. cocoa
½ cup Crisco
1 cup water
½ cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
½ T, cinnamon

Icing: 1 stick oleo 1 box powdered sugar
4 T. cocoa
6 T. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Sift together flour and sugar.

Bring the next 4 ingredients to boil. Pour over the sugar and flour - still well.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Put batter in greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.

Start icing Before cake is done.

Bring first 3 icing ingredients to boil. Remove from heat. Add 1 box of powdered sugar, then add vanilla and pecans.

Beat well and spread over cake.
