2 cups all purpose Flour, sifted
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter - softened
1/2 sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Candied red & green cherries

Directions:
Refrigerate un-greased cookies sheets until ready to use. (IMPORTANT) Preheat oven 375º F. Sift flour with salt. At medium speed with electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. At low speed, beat flour mixture until smooth. Fill cookie press with dough.
Using cold cookie sheets helps cookie dough from spreading. Press spritz cookies onto cold sheets. Bake cookies 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove to rack, cool and store in air-tight container.
