1 Fat Fryer,cut up Hot Water Flour Salt Pepper Hot Fat Gravy:To make gravy pour off excess grease,saving the pan drippings(about 4 tablespoons).Stir in 2 tablespoons flour and brown.Then add 2 cups hot wter.Again season to taste.Stir and cook until thick.Aerve with fresh corn,hot biscuits and sliced tomatoes.

Cut chicken up and put into pan of hot water.While chicken is hot from the dip into flour and place in hot fat.Cover and cook 5 minutes.Remove lid and continue to cook 3 minutes.Remove lid and continue to 3 more minutes(on same side).Turn chicken;again cover and cook 5 minutes.Remove cover and allow to brown about 4 mines longer.This is drained on paper paper and seasoned to taste with salt and ppper
