1 Package yeast
½ tsp Sugar
1 Egg
½ Cup sugar
½ Cup shortening
1 tsp salt
Flour appx 8 Cups

Directions:
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in ½ Cup warm water and ½ tsp sugar and cover. 2. Mix together: 2 Cups warm water, 1 egg, ½ Cup sugar, ½ Cup shortening, 1 tsp salt. Add to the yeast mixture. Start adding the flour til mixture is smooth and elastic. 3. Knead mixture for 10 minutes. Put mixture in greased bowl and let rise in a warm place til doubled. 4. Make mixture into rolls and put in a greased pan. Let rise until doubled again. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes
