2C whole wheat flour
1/4C flaxseed meal
1/4C wheat germ
1/4C cornmeal
1C rolled oats
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
2-1/2C buttermilk
3 tbsp butter melted
3 eggs separated
1 tsp sugar or honey
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put griddle on fire to heat.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
Lightly beat egg whites into milk
Lightly beat egg yolks into melted butter
Lightly beat yolk/butter
Mix yolks/butter with milk mix.
When griddle is hot, add wet on top of dry, stir/whisk for about 10 seconds. Do not overmix. If necessary, add a little milk to maintain batter consistency.
