2 T. butter
1 small onion, diced small
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. bourbon
3 T. cider vinegar
2 T. molasses
2 T. honey
2 t. tabasco
1 t. thyme, chopped
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
salt and pepper
1 1/2 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 T. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in butter until soft, add garlic and cook about
2 minutes. Stir in ketchup, bourbon, vinegar, molasses, honey, tabasco, thyme and cayenne. Simmer until thick
(about 40 minutes). Blend/puree until smooth and add salt and pepper to taste.

Season shrimp with salt and pepper and brush on 1/3 c. of sauce. Grease grill pan and grill the shrimp,
turning once for about 4 minutes.

Serve with cheese grits and remaining sauce.
