Ingredients:
Granola doesn't call for many ingredients.
Gather 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats,
1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes,
1 cup nuts (your choice—I used pistachios),
1/2 cup olive oil,
1/2 cup maple syrup,
1/3 cup sesame seeds,
and salt. I like mine salty and use about 1 1/4 teaspoons. Dial back to 3/4 teaspoon if you want it less salty.

Directions:
Directions:
Chop nuts and add ingredients to a large bowl. Stir together ingredients and pour onto a parchment-lined rimmed baking sheet. Use a wooden spoon to spread granola into an even layer.
Bake at 300° until golden, about 40 minutes (try to stir once throughout, though not essential). Note that the granola will harden once out of the oven.
Store granola in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Personal Notes:
Your can add all kinds of other fun things. Dark Chocolate chips is one of my favorites. You need to wait until it has cooled to add any chocolate. I would make this for the Grateful Dead concerts we went to, It was long days and this help.
