1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Oven - 375º.

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together then add to the to mix. Fold in oatmeal.
Add raisins to suit taste.

Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheet. Bake until done.
