1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter, softened
2 eggs
1 T. poppy seeds
1 T. lemon rind, grated
2 T. lemon juice
2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs, poppy seeds, lemon rind and lemon juice; mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and soda. Add to egg mixture and beat well. Pour batter into an oiled 9 x 5 loaf pan and bake at 325º for 45 minutes or until done. Cool before slicing.
