1/2 cup oil
1/2 onion,sliced
1-2 cloves garlic, diced
3, 12-oz. cans or 6, 6-oz. cans tomato paste, preferably Hunts or Red Pack
2 cans water
3, 28-oz. cans tomato puree or 5, 28-oz. cans peeled tomatoes (pureed in blender)
salt (very little)
pepper
1 tbsp. sugar

2 lb. pork (pork chops or Italian sausage)
meatballs:
2 lb. ground chuck
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
parsley
salt
pepper
garlic powder
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Place oil in bottom of heavy, large pan. Brown meatballs and then remove and save. Brown sausage, remove and save. Add onion and garlic to bottom of pan. Brown lightly under low heat. Add tomato paste and cook, stirring constantly for a couple minutes. Add 2 cans of water and stir to combine. Add puree. Add salt (small amount),pepper, garlic powder, and sugar. Cook on low heat one hour. Add cooked meat (sausage, meatballs). Cook additional 1 1/2 hours. Taste sauce and add seasonings as needed.
