1c. Butter
2 c. Brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ c. Sifted flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
1tsp salt
3 c. Quick cooking rolled oats

Filling:
1 - 15 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 – 12 oz. Pkg. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. Butter
½ tsp. salt
1 c. Chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F.

1. Cream cup of butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and 2 tsp vanilla.
2. Sift flour, baking soda and 1 tsp salt and then stir in oats.
3. Stir in dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until blended
4. Set aside
Filling:
1. In a heavy saucepan melt chocolate, milk, remaining butter and salt, stirring until smooth.
2. Stir in nuts and remaining vanilla.

Assemble:
1. Spread 2/3 of oat mixture on bottom of 15” x 10” x 1” baking sheet.
2. Spread chocolate mixture over dough. Dot with remaining oat mixture.
3. Bake for 20 t0 30 min. Allow to cool slightly and then cut into 2”x1” bars.
