1 pound beef sirloin stew meat, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 pound fresh baby carrots
3 medium potatoes, cut into chunks
1 large onion, cut into chunks
1 C red wine
1 C beef broth
2 celery ribs, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 C flour seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
olive oil
1-2 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare beef cubes, rinse in water and pat dry. Combine with seasoned flour and saute beef cubes
in frying pan with olive oil. Spray a dutch oven or a slow cooker with Pam. Remove beef when lightly browed from frying pan to cooker. Scrape beef drippings into to cooker with beef cubes. Layer remaining vegetables and season. Pour beef broth and red wine over vegetables and season.

Cook in slow cooker for 4-6 hours, until all ingredients are tender.

You may add 2T tapoica to cooker to thicken sauce.
