Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt

Heat to melt sugar then cool

Put 2 pkgs yeast in 1.4 c lukewarm water with 2 tsp sugar

Add this to milk mixture, stir in 2 eggs, 1/2 cup soft shortening
add 3 1/2 cups flour

Add flour in 2 additions being sure to not add to much , put dough on floured board on about 1 cup flour
and knead until dough is smooth and elastic
then put dough in a greased bowl turning dough

let rise in a warm place about an hour or until doubled in size

Place on a floured board and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture of butter, brown sugar and butter

roll up and cut into slices and place in pan and let rise 30 minutes

Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes
 

CARAMEL FROSTING

1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar



Directions:
Directions:
Place in saucepan, cook until sugar is dissolved and add 6 tbsp canned milk and cook 2 minutes


Remove from fire and add 1 tsp vanilla and enough powered sugar to desired thickness, usually 1 box powdered sugar
