1 cup shortening
1cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2-1/2cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup chocolate chips or nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs raisins and vanilla let stand 1 hour. Cream sugars and shortening. Sift dry ingredients together. Blend in eggs, raisins, nuts and oatmeal. Dough will be stiff. Push dough from heaping teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet or roll into small balls flatten. Bake at 350•degrees for 10 to 12 minutes
