Ingredients:

1. Maida 400 g
2. Butter 250 g(125 gms for savoury)
3. Icing Sugar 125 g
4. Baking Powder 5 g
5. Milk 20 ml

Filling:
1. Apple 250 g
2. Cinnamon
3. Raisins 50 g
4. Vanilla Sponge 300 g
5. Sugar Bura 125 g

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a bowl, cream butter and icing sugar. Simultaneously add milk.
2. Meanwhile, keep the dry ingredients ready.
3. Add the dry ingredients to the creamy butter mixture and prepare the dough.
4. Let it rest for 10 minutes in the freezer.
5. Take the dough and roll it out in the thickness of 6 mm.
6. Take the rolled dough and place it on the pie tray and shape it accordingly with your hands.
7. Poke the dough with a fork everywhere to prevent it from rising too much.
8. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 200 c.


For Filling:


1. In a bowl, take the vanilla sponge, and crush it with your hands.
2. Meanwhile sautee the chopped apple, cinnamon, raisins and sugar together
3. Mix the sauteed mixture into the vanilla sponge.
4. Once the pie has cooled down, fill the apple filling into it.
Now from the remaining dough, prepare strips and stick them from corner to corner. The covering of the pie can be upto your creativity.
Give milk wash to the outer covering strips and keep for baking for 20 - 25 minutes at 190 c.
After baking, let it rest for about 4 hours before serving.
