3 cups self rising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 (12 oz) can beer (do not use dark beer)
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°. Mix together flour and sugar; add beer. The mixture will be sticky and lumpy. Place in a greased loaf pan. Smooth out top of dough with wet hands so dough doesn’t stick to fingers.
Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven; pour butter over top, place back in oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Bread should golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes and remove from pan and let cool completely.
