2-6 Lbs prime rib (boned and ties)
1 c butter, softened
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 T thyme, finely chopped
1 T oregano, finely chopped
1 T rosemary, finely chopped
1 T salt
1 t pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Remove prime rib from the fridge for at least 30 minutes to bring to room temp. Preheat oven to 450º.
In a small bowl, mix butter through pepper above. Rub it all on the outside of your prime rib and place in a roasting pan with the fat side up.

Cook for 15 minutes and then reduce to 325º. Cook about 15 minutes per pound of meat when the internal temp reaches 120º.

Remove from oven, cover with foil and let it rest at least 20 minutes. The temp will rise to 150 for medium.
