2 Cups Hot Water
1½ Cups White Sugar
½ Cup White Vinegar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
Orange Food Colouring

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the water sugar and vinegar until the sugar is dissolved. In a small bowl mix cornstarch with water and add to the liquid small amount at a time until you have the desired thickness for your sauce.

Mom got the recipe from the Great Wall Chinese food restaurant. The original Recipe was as follows 4 gallons of hot water, 10 Kg of White sugar, 1 gallon of Vinegar. You can keep this in your fridge and take out what you want and thicken it. I have calculated to make a smaller batch. (as good as the original)
