Ingredients:  
1 cup Crisco (any shortening)
1 1/2 cup sugar
Rind and juice on 1 orange
2 eggs
4 cup flour
1 tsp. soda in milk
1 cup sour milk (or you can add 1 Tbsp.vinegar to milk)
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting
Powdered sugar, rind and juice. Add juice to make the desired amount and consistency

Directions:

Beat shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Mix till blended. Let stand 15 minutes.
Drop by teaspoonfuls or with a scoop. Bake at 350º till golden brown.
