1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp coarse salt
6 ounces chopped milk chocolate
12 chewy carmels (Chopped)
Sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º. Line a baking tray with Silpat or parchment paper. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix until well blended. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low until well combined. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter. Mix on low until combined. Add the chocolate chunks and caramel pieces. Mix only until combined. Scoop balls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Top with a sprinkling of sea salt. Bake for 12 minutes, then cool for 10 minutes before removing from the baking tray.
