4 large eggs
1/3 cup & 1 tablespoon of white sugar
2 cups of whole milk
1 cup of heavy cream
2-3 ounces of your choice of alcohol (optional)
3/4 teaspoon of nutmeg (fresh if you have it)

Directions:
Directions:
Separate the egg whites from the yokes.
Cream the yokes with the 1/3 cup of sugar.
Add the cream and milk mix well together
Slowly heat the mixture stirring constantly till the mixture is 170-180º F
Mix in the alcohol (stays mixed better if added now)
Add the nutmeg
Let cool in fridge or you can use an ice bath to speed the cooling before putting in the fridge.
When the mixture is cool whip the egg whites with the 1 Tablespoon of white sugar once you have soft peaks. Mix it with the custered mixture let finish cooling before serving.

This is very rich and creamy like liquid pudding. We’ve tried non traditional alcohol like Kaluha and Amaretto and enjoyed the results.
