2 lbs. sausage (I use Jimmy Dean regular)
9 eggs
9 slices white bread, crust removed, cubed
3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. dry mustard (optional)
chopped onion to taste (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Fry sausage and onions, drain and cool. Beat eggs, add milk, bread, mustard, cheese and sausage. Place in a 9x12 greased baking dish. Keep in refrigerator overnight.
Remove from refrigerator, let stand for 30 min. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 45 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

This was Tommys Grandmother Marie's recipe. We always had it at the beach and on Christmas morning. We still have it on Christmas morning today.
