Ingredients:  
6 to 8 pieces of chicken (breasts or thighs)
2 Sticks of Butter
1 large Onion, diced
Season with Salt, Pepper & Garlic powder
Basta (Spaghetti, Linguine or Fettuccini)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place chicken (skin side up), along with butter and onion. in a large roasting pan.
Generously season with salt, pepper & garlic.
Bake for approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes.
While chicken is cooking, boil your Basta according to the instructions, strain.
Increase oven to Broil, cook for 5 minutes to brown the chicken skin.
Remove Chicken from pan.
Put cooked basta in roasting pan with the drippings from the chicken and butter.
Mix until all basta is coated, serve with the roasted chicken.
Add Parmesan cheese, if desired.

This dish was created by Gilda Bentivegna for her husband Louie, because he could not eat tomato sauce. Tomatoes was too sweet for him.
