1/3 cup soft shortening
2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/4 cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
2-3 cups mashed bananas
1/3 cup canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together:
Flour, Baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix together:
Bananas, canned milk, vanilla.

Put 1/3 cup soft shortening into a bowl. Add gradually, beating until light and fluffy, 2/3 cup sugar. Beat in vigorously 2 unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Stir in 1/3 cup flour mixture. When smooth, stir in 1/2 milk mixture. Repeat until all is used.
Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips
Drop by spoon.
Bake at 375º for 10 minutes, or until light brown.
Remove from pan at once.
