3 Cups all purpose flour
1 Tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 Cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
2 tsb lemon juice
3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries (stemmed and chopped)
alternative: 2 ½ cups dried cranberries
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl measure out the flour baking powder baking soda and salt. Mixed together. In another Bowl Place butter and sugar in a large bowl and mix with a hand mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs milk and lemon juice. Stir flour mixture into wet mixture a little at a time until it is Blended through. Add cranberries and walnuts. Drop til by teaspoonfuls about 1 inch apart on to a greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the cookie sheets to wire racks for cooling. You can also make this into bread by placing it in loaf pans and cooking for 30 to 40 minutes.
