Potatoes
1/4 cup onion, cut up
1 or 2 beef patties or some cut up ham
1 heaping tbsp. margarine
1/2 cup milk
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Dice enough potatoes for the family and add 1/4 cup cut up onion. Cover with water in pan, maybe 1-2 inches over potatoes. Add salt and pepper.

You can either add what amounts 2 1 or 2 beef patties OR 1 heaping tbsp. margarine OR some cut up ham.

Bring potatoes to a boil on high heat. Reduce to low and boil till tender. You need to watch it till it boils up good. Set your timer for 20 minutes and test. You may need to boil 5 to 10 minutes longer.

Remove from burner and add 1/2 cup milk, maybe more. Taste it for salt, you may want more.
