3 C Prepared Apples (granny smith preferred)
2 C Prepared and lightly sugared Rhubarb
2 Tbs. Lemon Juice
½ C Flour
¾ C Quick-­cooking Oats
½ C Brown Sugar, lightly packed
¼ C Butter
½ tsp. Salt (if butter is unsalted)
1 tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Add apples and rhubarb to a 9 in. baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and stir to coat; set aside. Sift together flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. The mixture must be lightly worked so that it does not become oily. Spread crumble over the apples and rhubarb. Bake 30-35 mins.

For a nice variation, replace flour and oats with 1½ C crushed ginger snaps.
