Personal Notes:
Grandma Dorothy Harris made these cookies as far back as I can remember. My dad loved nuts of all kinds and sweets so these satisfied his taste buds. But my mom liked making them not only because they were good, but so easy; instead of rolling, or dropping the cookies by teaspoonfuls, you just patted/spread the dough on a greased cookie sheet. This is the note written by Grandma at the bottom of handwritten recipe card “1950’s Very Good.”
