Peppers of any kind - red, yellow, green, pablano ... this method works with lots of different vegetables

1. Preheat oven to 375º
2. Wash, clean, and cut peppers in half.
3. Remove seeds and innards.
4. Slice into wide strips
5. Lay on a cookie sheet skin side up- silicone mats or parchment paper great for no stick no mess cleanup
6. Place cookie sheets in oven for 30-40 minutes - until peppers are starting to darken and skin is wrinkly.
7. Let cool and use on salads or other dishes.

You can freeze roasted peppers in ziploc bags or foodsaver bags. The flavor of roasted peppers can warm up salads during the cold winter months! Roast and freeze when peppers are inexpensive and abundant.
