Ingredients: Greased 8 x 12 Pan If you double, use 11 x 14 Cookie Sheet
Ingredients for Crust:
1 Whole box of Pie crust (double crust) or make double crust recipe - Recipe to follow 1 tsp. Sugar ... add to crust mix Squirt Pam to coat the pan
Ingredients for Filling:
8 to 10 apples pared and sliced (more if you need it) 1/4 cup Sugar 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1 tsp. Flour Dots Butter to place on top of apples (your discretion) 1 to 2 cups raisins (optional) 1/16 cup water (approx. ..... used for drizzle)

Directions:CRUST: 1 box of pie crust... use whole box for double crust You need a thicker bottom than usual Follow directions for 2 pie crusts but also ADD 1 tsp. of SUGAR to crust. Kneed and roll with rolling pin to fill 8 x 12 pan or something close. Grease or squirt pan with PAM. Put pie crust in pan.
APPLES: 8 or more apples peeled and cut into 1" wedges. You need enough to line the pan in neat rows.
TOPPING:
1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon t tsp. flour
(Combine above ingredients and sprinkle over apples now)
Also: Add: 2 tbsp. butter (pea size dots around apples) 1/2 cup raisins - sprinkle over apples water - drizzle with Water to moisten cake
BAKE 400 degrees .... 1/2 hour or more. Enjoy |
